In July 2026, Laureus Sport for Good USA launched Sport for Good Dallas, a collective impact initiative committed to improving the lives of under-resourced youth across the Dallas metro area through the power of sport. Through cross-sector collaboration, Sport for Good Dallas is working to ensure that more children and youth have access to high-quality, youth-centered sports programs.
Since launching, Sport for Good Dallas has:
- Formed a coalition of 20+ organizations committed to strengthening the Dallas youth sport ecosystem through collaboration, shared learning, and collective action
- Opened its inaugural Request for Proposals, with plans to award approximately 7–10 grants ranging from $15,000 to $20,000 to local sport-based youth development organizations
- Secured founding funder support from Lyda Hill Philanthropies, Sixth Street Foundation, etc group, and the Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL), alongside continued partnership with Richemont
- Established a research and evaluation partnership with SMU’s Addy Foundation Center on Research and Evaluation (CORE) to build a long-term framework for measuring the initiative’s impact
- Built on Laureus USA’s broader track record — since 2012, the organization has invested over $33M in sports-based youth development nationally, impacting over 1 million youth and training more than 20,000 coaches
