Adam Fraser is a values-driven, collaborative leader with extensive experience at the intersection of nonprofit and corporate business and social change. His particular expertise in navigating the complex matrix of needs of partners, stakeholders and funders with those of community leaders and front-line delivery agents has allowed him to generate tens of millions of dollars of investment into community-led organizations to drive maximum social return on investment through tangible impact on the ground. He has worked as a journalist and writer, communications lead, and nonprofit brand and business development specialist, and has built successful funding partnerships on every continent. As the Chief Executive of Laureus Sport for Good, Global, he is responsible for a global portfolio of National Foundations, grants and capacity-building investments, all focused on using the power of sport to end violence, discrimination and disadvantage. Before taking over as Chief Executive in 2019, he served as the organization’s Global Development Director – responsible for securing the funding and partnerships that allow Laureus to support more than 250 organizations in 50 countries and territories. He has guest lectured at universities, led community fundraising trainings for Major Leagues, addressed the United Nations, and advised Boards and CEOs in the USA, UK, South Africa, Mexico and more on the most effective ways in which sport has the power to change the world.
