Our 2025 Impact Report Is Here: See What Sport for Good Looks Like in Action

We’re proud to announce that the Laureus USA 2025 Impact Report is officially live. 

This isn’t just a snapshot of the year. It’s the story of what happens when communities treat sport as essential infrastructure for young people. It highlights what’s possible when people, programs, and organizations choose to work together instead of competing. 

What’s Inside 

This year’s report captures Sport for Good in action across our Sport for Good Cities (Atlanta, Chicago, New Orleans, and New York City) and beyond. It’s built around real data, real stories, and the real young people and program leaders at the center of this work. 

• 63,762 young people reached. Through 117 grants awarded nationwide, Laureus USA supported community-led programs that used sport to build confidence, belonging, and resilience in youngpeople who needed it most. The report breaks down who they are, where they’re from, and what changed for them. 
• 1,950 coaches trained. Coaches are the backbone of this work. When they’re equipped with the right tools and knowledge, young people experience sport in environments that are safer, more inclusive, and genuinely transformative.  
• A movement strengthening entire ecosystems. Our Sport for Good Cities model goes beyond funding programs in isolation. It’s about building and strengthening entire local ecosystems; connecting organizations, aligning resources, and creating conditions where access to high-quality sport becomes the norm, not the exception. Across all four cities, we deepened our work in 2025. 
• A landmark policy win. In Illinois, Laureus USA helped bring together partners, elevate community voices, and push for change at the systems level resulting in the creation of the first statewide Youth Sports Commission in the country, paired with continued state investment for sports-based youth development programs.

Sport, at its best, doesn’t just build athletes. It builds people. It builds communities. And when the right infrastructure exists to support it, its impact can reach far beyond the field or the court.
