Laureus USA & Movember Hosted Nike Soccer Kick Around

NEW YORK CITY, June 19, 2026 — Laureus USA and Movember continued their summer of soccer + mental health hosting a clinic at Nike Soccer Kick Around at Macombs Dam Park in the Bronx. More than 170 young people joined the event, celebrating the global excitement surrounding this summer’s tournament. 

Participants rotated through four stations, including soccer drills, gameplay practice, and mental health activities based on Movember’s Game Changers program. Nike kept the energy high all morning long with a DJ, yummy treats, cool photo moments, and of course some great swag and giveaways. And we could not have made it happen without our amazing local partners South Bronx United, NY Scores and Neighborhood United. 

The clinic kicked off South Bronx United’s Bronx Block Party and World Cup Festival, co-hosted with the NY/NJ Host Committee, which included additional community activities and a viewing of the USA vs. Australia match. Laureus USA and Movember were proud to sponsor and help bring this larger event to life for the South Bronx Community.
