Kyle Pitts Surprises Young Football Players at Bellwood Boys and Girls Club

This summer, Laureus USA partnered up again with our friends at Gatorade – surprising youth from the Salvation Army Bellwood Boys and Girls Club at their football practice with a visit from Atlanta Falcons tight end, Kyle Pitts.  

Through Gatorade’s Equity in Sports partnership with Laureus USA, Pitts announced the Salvation Army Bellwood Boys and Girls Club would be receiving a $25,000 grant that allows them to continue delivering critical sports-based youth development programming for youth in the Bankhead, Washington Park, and Vine City Atlanta communities. 

The visit and donation affirmed the goals of our partnership with Gatorade that continues to allow us to collectively make an impact in local communities, drive equity in sports, and unlock opportunities for every kid to play. Laureus USA and Gatorade believe that every young person should have access to and the opportunity to benefit from the power of sports.
