The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) is a bi-county agency serving Prince George’s and Montgomery counties in Maryland with parks, recreation, and planning. The Commission was founded in 1927 to provide long-range planning and park acquisition and development. Since then, the Commission’s responsibilities have expanded to include the administration of Prince George’s County’s public recreation program.
